Hey everyone! I know I haven't been posting. I've been super busy with life. But I haven't been away from your blogs. I still comment on the cool blogs from everyone.

I wanted to do a review on the two eye creams that I've tried in the past months. I read good reviews on the Clinique Stop Signs Eye and also MAC's Fast Response Cream. I wanted to try both. I actually picked up Clinique's first and tried it for 3 months.

Clinique Advanced Stop Signs Eye

Pros
-has SPF 15
-allergy tested, and 100% fragrance free (like all Clinique products)
-reverses the look of fine line
-has products to add brightness to the eyes
-15ml/0.5 oz

Cons
-expensive at $33.50
-oily, leaves residue on eyes
-smells like medicated cream
-didn't see results in 3 months
-caused irritation to my eyes
-feels heavy on my eyes

On the right: blended into my skin. You can see how much residue the Clinique leaves. It takes a while to blend it. The MAC disappears much faster than Clinique's

MAC Fast Response Cream

Pros
-only need a small amount
-packaging allows precision of taking the product out
-easily blendable
-doesn't leave residue
-no funny smell
-does reduce redness d/t the caffeine as an ingredient
-reduces redness and puffiness faster than Clinique's
-15 ml/o.5 oz

Cons
-pricey: $28.50

I love the fast response cream! I can easily say that it works much better than Clinique's. I had so many problems with Clinique that I regret buying it. I only bought it because of the rave reviews. But it just didn't work for my lids.

I love how the fast response cream is really quick. It doesn't take that long to depuff my lids especially after a night of staying awake most of the night.

The trick is to not use too much, maybe a small drop and spread it around your eye lid with your ring finger because it's the lightest pressure of all the fingers.

Do you use an eye cream? If not, you should! Ladies...we need to prevent things now before it's too late! I highly suggest MAC's. If you do use a cream, which one do you use? Are there less expensive alternatives out there that I don't know of? Please let me know!

Great reviews, lady. I actually have one from Clinique that I've been too lazy to use. I need to jump on it!

i've been meaning to try mac's fast response, but right now, i use mario badescu's ceramide eye gel, it's 18 bucks for .5 oz. It's very light and hydrating.

I currently use Clinique All About Eyes at night and MAC Fast Response before I put on my makeup. But I just started using an eyecream for about 3 weeks so I haven't really noticed a difference yet.

I'm going to try the Mac. My eyes are always puffy from allergies. I need this!
